Studi Desain Neutronik Perangkat Kritik Reaktor Temperatur Tinggi Berbahan Bakar Bola

Abstract


Perangkat kritik reaktor temperatur tinggi dilakukan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan riset fisika reaktor yang berhubungan dengan teknologi basis HTGR. Analisis desain ditekankan pada perilaku neutron dalam teras selama perangkat kritik beroperasi dengan memanfaatkan program perhitungan neutronik komprehensif SRAC95 dan pustaka data tampang lintang multi kelompok energi neutron JENDL-3.2. Teras perangkat berdiameter 110 cm dan tinggi 140 cm yang dikelilingi reflektor grafit pada semua sisi setebal 60 cm. Bahan bakar yang digunakan berbentuk bola (pebble bed) dengan spesifikasi dan teknologi fabrikasi Jerman. Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan pemuatan bahan bakar bola dengan pengkayaan U235 10% menghasilkan tinggi kritis 133 cm yang setara dengan 6.823 bahan bakar bola, sedangkan pemuatan bahan bakar bola dengan pengkayaan U235 tertinggi, yakni 19%, memberikan tinggi kritis 102 cm yang setara dengan 5.207 bahan bakar bola. Profil distribusi fluks aksial pada berbagai pengkayaan U235 dan hasil perhitungan faktor puncak daya sebagai fungsi pengkayaan U235 didiskusikan sebagai konsekuensi dari perilaku neutron di teras reaktor. Desain neutronik perangkat kritik reaktor temperatur tinggi dengan ketinggian kritis 107 cm dan spesifikasi bahan bakar bola HTR-10 dapat disimpulkan sebagai pilihan yang tepat.
