Karakteristik Batuan Granit Pada Formasi Granit Garba Daerah Pancur Pungah dan Sekitarnya, Muara Dua, Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ulu Selatan

Abstract


Letak administrasi daerah penelitian berada pada Daerah Pancur Pungah, Muara Dua, Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ulu Selatan, Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Sebaran batuan granit formasi Granit Garba cukup luas dan memiliki karakteristik yang menarik untuk dibahas baik secara megaskopis maupun mikroskopis berdasarkan analisa petrografi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi lapangan secara langsung dan analisis petrografi menggunakan sampel pemerconto yang telah di sampling. Berdasarkan observasi lapangan terdapat 36 lokasi penelitian singkapan batuan granit pada formasi Granit Garba (KGr). Kandungan mineral penyusun utama berupa golongan mineral-mineral silika (SiO2) yaitu kuarsa, plagioklas dan alkali feldspar ditemukan dalam batuan Syenogranit dan Monzogranit. Terdapat juga mineral tambahan yaitu biotit, piroksen dan fluorit serta mineral ubahan yaitu serisit dan klorit. Rata-rata sampel penelitian ini secara umum memiliki terkstur perthite berupa intergrowth antara mineral ortoklas dan plagioklas yang mengidentifikasi bahwa kedua mineral tersebut tumbuh secara bersamaan.
